After one shot my R9/DMR unexpectedly quit operating . I had charged it at home so figured it wasn't the battery. I had the camera body checked and CLA'd at Leica Nj this summer-so figured it shouldn't be doing this. But after thinking about it- I charged the battery again- and to my delight it worked fine! The camera quits unexpectedly at the most inopportune moment. Of the 191 images taken so far- I have a fair number which are off slightly in exposure, focus, composition, etc as you mentioned in your Canada geese piece. Perfection is a goal difficult to achieve. But- it's fun to keep trying.
