If it is electronically timed I'm sure it happens! But many of the things that are brought up are not worth bothering about if the photographer is totally consummed with shooting the moment! And just got on with their picture taking it really wouldn't make any difference! I have a question back, why in all "common sense," never mind wishy washy reasons, would one shoot RAW & JPEG at the same time?" I see that as a complete waste of card space and battery waste. Not to forget it's double the editing time later? Anyone? Particularly when they feel the camera isn't functioning in a manner they don't like, why do it and set the camera to work in both JPEG & RAW? A fashion that it only angers the user?? cheers, Dr. ted ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jim" <jimlong5 at charter.net> To: "Leica Users Group" <lug at leica-users.org> Sent: Wednesday, November 11, 2009 6:45 AM Subject: Re: [Leica] M9 reviewers drawn from the "unwashed masses" > So when the digital journalist article said there is a 3.6 to 3.7 second > pause needed between fine and basic JPG files, that's not true? > > > Jim > > > > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: <tedgrant at shaw.ca> > To: "Leica Users Group" <lug at leica-users.org> > Sent: Tuesday, November 10, 2009 10:21 AM > Subject: Re: [Leica] M9 reviewers drawn from the "unwashed masses" > > >> Frank Filippone wrote: >>> >> Yes.
