But you might also consider getting a tiny netbook.  My Acer was cheaper 
than the Epson photo storage units and you get the added bonus of being 
able to connect to the internet and work on the computer.  Mine has 
144GB of storage but, if that's not enough, you can also carry a tiny 
Seagate external hard drive that will give you 350GB more.  I don't 
think I could travel without being able to connect to the internet!  I 
use it to look up restaurants, events, directions, crossword puzzle 
clues, e-mail communication.  I have one of the Epson P5000's but it was 
frustratingly slow and quickly outdated.  I couldn't use it to view RAW 
files either.  My little Acer is perfect for travel.  I have Lightroom 
loaded on it for quick editing.
