I noticed, however, Kansas has equalizers in place in the form of State Troopers, so it probably makes more sense that I am getting 46 mpg in the Prius rather than 146 mph in the Porsche. By the way, the troopers in Kansas are really sneaky; they put the a light green sedan radar car, down in the middle of the lanes; your first thought is disabled motorist. Your second is, YIKES!
