Plus built in tilt/shift! Plus you can mount the lenses back asswards for micromacro!! (forget about filters though). Plus one back can shoot 120 or 220. Plus the lenses are lighter because no leaf shutters. Lots of plusses there for even greater bargain basement prices... Not sure if this was whild Mr. Heidecke was alive, but it sure nudged up against the Hassy... Great for eventual digital 6x6 too ?Bob Adler Palo Alto, CA http://www.raflexions.com ________________________________ From: Mark Rabiner <mark at rabinergroup.com> To: Leica Users Group <lug at leica-users.org> Sent: Monday, October 5, 2009 12:23:32 AM Subject: Re: [Leica] New List Member > My late wife and I each used the Rollei constantly and I'd love to > have a digital Rollei but I am afraid that's not going to happen. > > Thanks for another memory, > > Bill I think Hassy's and Rollies are not adversarial There's the famous picture of Victor Hasselblad with the camera with his name on it and Paul Heidecke Mr. Rolleiflex. http://www.hasselbladhistorical.eu/HS/HSHmeetsR.aspx Or http://theonlinephotographer.typepad.com/.a/6a00df351e888f88340120a5fed83897 0c-popup Put a back on a Hasselblad and shoot medium format digital the old fashioned way. I plan on doing it. Mark William Rabiner _______________________________________________ Leica Users Group. See http://leica-users.org/mailman/listinfo/lug for more information
