If we'd had a Leica-only rule here, I'd have had to drop off a while ago and missed out on all the fun. The camera is only a tool, after all, and despite the fact that I'm almost certainly going to buy an X-1, and maybe even an M9 eventually, all this highfalutin talk about the inherent superiority of Leica gear makes me shout P I F F L E! Photography Is Fun For Lovers of Every camera! (Tortured, I know, but it's the best I could do on short notice. ;-) ) Regards, Dick (Who in addition to his D300 owns an M3, a R3A, and about a dozen M- mount lenses, some going back to the 1960's. And, over the course of his lifetime owned and sold a IIIb, a IIIf, a IIIg, a CL, an M2, an M4, and at least a half-dozen screw mount lenses.)
