My on-line dictionary says of emotivism: "an ethical theory that regards ethical and value judgments as expressions of feeling or attitude and prescriptions of action, rather than assertions or reports of anything." I don't quite know what to make of all that. Others have said things about his various long works that would point in that direction. Personally I most enjoy documentaries which uncover new information or present existing information in a new and enlightening manner. If, and when, I'm moved emotionally by various art forms I'd like those emotions to feel "real" rather than "manipulated." (and I understand that all art manipulates) Regards, George Lottermoser george at imagist.com http://www.imagist.com http://www.imagist.com/blog http://www.linkedin.com/in/imagist On Sep 28, 2009, at 10:57 PM, Slobodan Dimitrov wrote: > So, would you call him an emotivist? > S.d. > > > On Sep 28, 2009, at 8:55 PM, George Lottermoser wrote: > >> Let me rephrase. >> In response to Mark's comment, "If his stuff is so bad?" >> referring to LUG critics of "The National Parks."
