To avoid useless details is always the most difficult, but when it's possible, there an oportunity to take a good picture. I remind what said Monsieur Pradier, a design professor I had in Lyon, many, many years ago (sorry for the approximate translation) "Do without everything you could eliminate without it concerns the result". ... something more easy to say than to put in practice, specially in photography. Althought I try to keep it in mind, most of the time...
