yes, Howard leica has already planned an upgrade for the m9 for early 2011
that updates the lcd with a 480,000 pixels, a new shutter upgrade just like
the m7 and .85 mag viewfinder. for about 1650.0 usd. and then they will roll
out the m9.2


but seriously there are two things i am looking for this camera to have so
that we can use the m8 as as back up, a mode to be able to use ir/uv filters
with the camera

and a menu option so that we can specify the lens (aka nikon manual lens
define)
