It came from a fellow who wanted to trade it in for a new model. My friend was somewhat skeptical about the deal, and asked why the person was selling a year-old car. Was it a lemon? No, it was in perfect condition. The seller was 95 years old and wanted to have a new Jaguar. The moral of this story: Ted, buy the M9--now! In the scheme of things it's a miniscule purchase. Plus, you can always trade it in next year <g>. Ted's comments on quality and clients 60th, wow. Congratulations! How often does that happen? In my case I would need a few lenses in addition to the M9 -- my last vision would be my spouse standing over me and saying, tell me again how you reload this SOB.
