The cat photo is just a tiny (maybe 15%) crop of the frame. I only had a 24-70 lens and no opportunity to get closer. Yet, it is an 8x13" print. I also notice that with the L lenses, no sharpening is needed except for mild capture sharpening in ACR. I have yet to see this CA or color fringing that I read about. Now, if only the sucker was waterproof (the lenses are but not the body).
