Subject: [Leica] New York without people

That's interesting.  Martha Casanave did something similar years ago in
Kiev.  She used a 35mm pinhole and Polaroid film.  Exposure times were in
the hours (winter), so there were no people.  The only problem was the KGB
breaking her Polaroid processor while she was out - evidently they thought
it was a code device of some kind.
