Eugene Richards liked the fact that I knew the names of all of the
people in my photos. He said none of the big name PJ's (he mentioned
Sebastian Salgado, James Nachtwey, and David Alan Harvey) would ever
be able to tell you the names of the people in their
photographs. But they are certainly successful and I expect they get
enough publicity to actually make a difference with their work.
