I think it will remain pretty much glued to my black M8 which doesn't have a slightly misaligned rangefinder, unlike my silver one. Must send it in to get it fixed sometime... In the end, I found it was surprisingly easy to get on with the Nokton. There was so much to see and photograph that I soon forgot about how 'hard' this lens is to use and just got on with things, taking on board hints from the forum on how to get the best from it. I think it's a bit like the Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy's entry on learning to fly: "There is an art, it says, or rather, a knack to flying. The knack lies in learning how to throw yourself at the ground and miss.
