'Dashing' is also a fine example for the theory that the photographer inevitably affects the situation just by being there. I saw the poster and set up the shot of course, waiting for a suitable subject to pass in front. This lady saw me standing right on the footpath edge with camera angled down as though waiting for her to pass before I shot. The lady suddenly sped up from her walk to get out of my way! Delightful and I called a thank you to her for helping make a lovely photo. 2009/8/25 Steve Barbour <steve.barbour at gmail.com> > I just spent a weekend in Melbourne, celebrating my birthday, visiting >>> camera shops and trying for some street photos. >>> First 13 photos start from this one. >>> http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/gh/m/Mlb-2.jpg.html >>> -- >>> Cheers >>> Geoff >>> >> > > for me Geoff especially the last...it says something very palpable about > our age... > > > like the swan, > > > calm, cool, and collected above water, > > paddling like hell underneath... > > > Steve > > > > > > > > > > _______________________________________________ > Leica Users Group. > See http://leica-users.org/mailman/listinfo/lug for more information > -- Cheers Geoff Alles was eine gute Kamera braucht / Everything a good camera needs: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/gh/ http://www.pbase.com/hoppyman
