I briefly explored the area 50 years ago, before our subdivision was laid out, and there were two areas that appeared to be eroded earth works. The larger one was two blocks away from me, and the smaller was in the corner of my back yard, along what was at the time a country road. ( It runs into Moore County, home to Lynchburg and the Jack Daniels Distillery) Tullahoma was more of a hospital area, with casualties from both sides buried in a local cemetary.
