If you are interested in aerospace, and would like a ticket let me know, its held around mid July. My passion along with photography is steam engines, and in particular any thing to do with the old Great Western Railway, I have spent some happy hours at the museum in Swindon ! I am lucky living on the south side of Birmingham its not far from the Severn Valley Railway so I can get a regular fix ! One of our major customers is Martin Baker Aircraft the ejector seat maker, and I am very proud of the products I supply which have saved the lives of pilots from all round the world, sorry to ramble on but if you are ever coming Birmingham way, and have the time lets meet up and chat Leica ! As I'm 'resting' at the moment, I'll pass on the spitfire...I think it's fantastic that such an old design is still popular.? Another cherished memory concerning the Spitfire was a bike ride out to Fairford on the eve of the international air tattoo a few years ago.? We witnessed a mock dogfight over the airfield between a BBMF spitfire and hurricane. It was wonderful to watch and to listen to.
