In Texas there is this big lawn culture which I do not subscribe to. I mow my grass just before the neighbors complain. I water it when the lawn is almost ready to curl up amd die. Occasionally I will attack parts of the lawn with a shovel and call it aerating. And chemicals are not on my list. Actually, no fertilizer is on my list. I use a mulching electric mower (the kind with an extention cord). We have had some good rain this year and been spending some time in the kiddie pool: i guess that is my irrigation system, i move it around to different parts of the yard. Thanks for looking.
