Sorry to hear things are quiet its the same here as well, which is one reason I am so passionate about photography it gives me a sense of perspective in this increasingly crazy but beautiful world we all share. You may already know this photographers work, two years ago I was enjoying a short holiday in Boston with my wife and bought this book ; Vanishing Point by David Plowden his photographs are very calming and yet at the same time vibrant, and capturing in a thoughtful way the profound changes that were taking place in America. It always gives me that perspective, and the motivation to keep trying ! P.S. Love the flower in B+W Regards Phil. ________________________________ From: George Lottermoser <imagist3 at mac.com> To: Leica Users Group <lug at leica-users.org> Sent: Wednesday, August 5, 2009 3:28:57 PM Subject: Re: [Leica] Wyoming I can make an attempt to answer the "thread" question by pointing you to this link: <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Threaded_discussion> in this "pub" you'll find that threads often become full blown fabrics as streams of consciousness often take over the original "subject" heading. A question about the merits of a 90 mm summicron can easily end with which nib to use on which pen with which ink if writing on Craines paper. Delightful. Really. Enjoy.
