On the left side of the trousers, the ground is darker (against the enlighted leg). On the right side, it's lighter (against the shady right leg). Around the dark legs and body of the dog, the medium tones of the crosswalk are enlighted. I send you (off-list) the picture with the comparison with what I think it could be, before retouching. In any case, I repeat I like this photograph as it is. Cheers, Marc >>Impressive picture with classical reminiscences. >>I really like it, although it would be even better if the retouching (on >>the left side of both subjects) were'n't so obvious. > > Marc -- > > Thanks but I'm not sure what "retouching" you're referring to. > > I admit to some very minor cloning almost out of the frame but that's it. > > I'd really like to know what part(s) of the picture strike you as > obviously > retouched. > . > Dave. > > -- > 2009 PAW Gallery: www.david-keenan.com/paw > Web Site: www.david-keenan.com > Austin Center for Photography: www.visitacp.org -- Check it out!!! > ACP Blog: www.visitacp.org/blog -- New!!! > > "It is far better to travel in hope than to actually arrive." > > _______________________________________________ > Leica Users Group. > See http://leica-users.org/mailman/listinfo/lug for more information >
