[Author Prev] [Author Next] [Thread Prev] [Thread Next] [Author Index] [Topic Index] [Home] [Search]An update regarding Leica M to Micro 4/3 adapters: The Voigtlander M to M4/3 adapter does not permit the use of the Dual Range Summicron 50/2.0: when mounted, the lens will not focus beyond 3m. The focusing mechanism binds with the adapter and renders the lens for close range use only. The Panasonic Leica M to Micro 4/3 adapter has no such problem, not to mention it is noticeably better built. Thus I believe the Voigtlander adapter has a design defect that should be rectified.
