With Germanic efficiency, the Hessenpark folks (the complex where the Leica meetings were) consists of a large number of medieval type houses, workshops, a mill, a windmill and most importantly a number of beer cafes assembled in one place for tourists. I think they were all moved from around the country. There's even an authentic Roman fort nearby. That part is original. Not too far from the Solms and Wetzlar areas. I didn't see any large vices and hammer combos used to adjust Leicas, but there was a least one guy opening beer bottles on the edge of his MP! 2009/7/15 tom johnston <artpaper at comcast.net> > always good to see lenses being used. > just curious if this is the workbench in the backroom where lenses and > bodies are assembled. > attempt at humor... > seriously though, thanks for posting the images. > > > http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/gh/g/l_001/s116.jpg.html > > _______________________________________________ > Leica Users Group. > See http://leica-users.org/mailman/listinfo/lug for more information > -- Cheers Geoff Alles was eine gute Kamera braucht / Everything a good camera needs: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/gh/ http://www.pbase.com/hoppyman
