I think you missed it - Phil is wondering if his DSLR (or any one made made 
today) will be working after 60 years, not the film camera.

Probably better than you or I will be working 60 years from now.  And the 
odds of our descendants wanting to shoot with it (even if they can get film) 
are pretty slim.
