I actually agree with Geoff's selections/priorities, especially given the weather he describes. When I go to London, I do not bother photographing the Big Ben or the Eye either. If I want pictures of those, I can buy postcards. I think it is much more interesting to look for details and people and perhaps unusual angles. I was in Dresden in January but did not bother photographing the Frauenkirche either, partly because I really did not have a lens wide enough to take it all in from the vantage points available to me. FWIW, this is the selection from my most recent trip to Berlin: http://www.frozenlight.eu/berlin1208/ And I included three pictures from Dresden in my first PAW for this year: http://www.fotocycle.dk:80/paws/?page_id=177 Nathan Nathan Wajsman Alicante, Spain http://www.frozenlight.eu http://www.greatpix.eu http://www.nathanfoto.com Books: http://www.blurb.com/bookstore/search?search=wajsman&x=0&y=0 PICTURE OF THE WEEK: http://www.fotocycle.dk/paws Blog: http://www.fotocycle.dk/blog On Jun 24, 2009, at 8:22 PM, Geoff Hopkinson wrote: > I'll try to make up for those omissions in the Berlin galleries > soon.
