OTOH most 4/3 lenses to not autofocus on the Panasonic G1 using the Panasonic adapter. It is implied that the Olympus lenses do so on the EP-1 using the Olympus adapter. I wonder if it is the adapter? It seemed that only a limited number of lenses were updated for contrast detect AF, which is presumably used for all non reflex cameras. I wait with baited breath... all the best, Frank On 16 Jun, 2009, at 16:49, Henning Wulff wrote: > Something I would really like to know... > > Are the Panasonic and Olympus micro 4/3 lenses interchangeable with > full functionality? > > Putting that Oly 17mm lens on the Panasonic might be interesting, or > the (sometime soon) 20mm/1.7 Panasonic on the Olympus. > > All in all, I'm rather disappointed in the Olympus body, though. > Without a viewfinder it is severely crippled, in my opinion. > -- > > * Henning J.
