friends (except with the M's of course; no need for MLU!).
Thanks for looking and good luck holding your breath :-)

Bob:
Those are lovely shots. Truly serendipitous weather for any serious shooter
(guy like you, huh?).
Funny how atmospheric, muted light seems to amplify the desired subject. As
a long time resident of the Seattle area, I've had to get used to low ISO,
tripod, hold-my-breath shooting on those f8 shots to try and pull it all in.
I especially like the isolated rock formation with a solitary tree.
Thanks, Bob!

Another road trip to Yosemite. Very strange (read, wonderful) weather for
June. Tioga Pass Road was closed for the morning due to snow; opened up in
the afternoon. Snowed at higher elevations, dogwoods in bloom at the middle
elevations, falls and roving fog in the valley. Really overwhelming number
of photographic possibilites!
The snag shot was taken at the higher elevations on Crane Flat:

Other images of the day follow. My favorite shot of the day was toward end
of day:

Your input is always very much appreciated.
