I really thing that the TE is a very good complement on the M8, it's relatively low speed is compensated many times by the flexibility of the M8, for everyday use and travel is a useful lens that make's a compact equipment, but when I'm on a week end I prefer take individual lenses, they are smaller and faster. Even so, I recognize that the optical quality of the TE is really superb!. I don't understand why Leica don't continues producing this lens, it is really useful in the M8.
