Subject: [Leica] Hartblei tilt shift rotation lenses get Zeiss name

Thanks Bruce. I actually got this from the DPReview website that states the 
lenses were designed for 6x6 format. My understanding is that the resolution 
of lenses designed for 6x6 format is different than those designed for 35mm 
format. So I was just wondering why one would want to make a 6x6 lense 
fitting?only/mostly 35mm camera manufacturers. 
Probably just wanting tosell more glass and DSLR is where the volume is...

Bob,

They have/had two websites running concurrently.
One for their original lenses, sold in the US, and made in the? 
Ukraine with, I think, Russian glass.
The second related to their Zeiss-based lenses (Hasselblad? 
transformation), using Hartblei parts to achieve the tilt and shift.
