Watching Allison set up the wash-tub-broom-handle base let me know they were all about the sound. She spent a good 5 minutes carefully wrapping a vocal mic in fabric and then placing pads, including a small knapsack to achieve the correct height for the sound under the tub. She also knew exactly where the notes were on that one string. ;~) I believe the rubber boots she wore intentionally for the wash tub. They are extraordinary young women.
