Larry,

I have no complaints about Bosch parts because of too little exposure on my 
part.  However, your post brought to mind the thing that I found most 
unusual about the 2007 Volvo V70 that we bought.  Its battery is below the 
floor of the cargo compartment at the rear of the wagon.  I assumed it was 
brought about by one or more of the following:
    Weight distribution
    No room under the hood (bonnet)
    Getting it away from the high temperature under the hood (bonnet)

Has anyone encountered this type of installation recently?
