Just for the record I had similar problems with a top HP A3+ printer; initial printer didn't get past stage one, the replacement was a refurbishment unit and faulty. I returned both and after a good deal of trouble got my money back. Must say I was looking at the Epson as I never did get a A3+ printer and the capapcity of the 3800 was attractive. Now I am likely to hold off again. Chris B 2009/2/20 Brian Reid <reid@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us>: > I bought an Epson Stylus Pro 3800 in December 2006.
