Once he discovered it was a film camera he lost interest. This was about the time there was a plan to ban the use of digital cameras in public spaces because it was feared unsavoury characters were taking pictures of children. I recall taking my grandson to a play area where I was reluctant to use my camera because other children were around. I am really concerned the UK government spurred on by the tabloid press are loosing the old balance between security and liberty.
