Some especially good solvent will be needed to remove the decomposed lubricants in the mount as all the light fractions have long ago boiled off leaving the equivalent of asphalt. If this person is a good technician they will follow with more specialized solvents that will leave no residue. Reagent grade ethanol is a good final solvent to remove all traces of previous cleaning agents. But for a quality lens I might send the unit to a specialist as Zeiss used quite a bit of hand fitting to get the most out of their designs.
