It is easy to press the Fn button then scroll from 1 to 5 while the FL and aperture change on the display to the one I have fitted. It is the big thing I would like added to the M8. Those who do not need it can ignore it, like on a Nikon. I vote for it. Only one downside AFAIK. Leica's objection is apparently that the camera uses vignetting and colour corrections depending on this information, rather than just correcting EXIF and flash info (which I think is all that Nikon does). The error of -not- having it correct is therefore potentially serious.
