I've been shooting mostly indoors in available light. So I haven't stopped down much. Plus I've only been using the 90, which I only stop down one or two stips. The more I stop down the more it will be an issue. I usually don't shoot at apertures smaller than f5.6 or f8. But we'll see. The camera meters fine. It's just that the viewfinder gets darker and though I haven't faced this yet, focus assist probably won't work beyond f5.6 or f8. OTOH, I don't need focus assist as much if I'm stopped down. There are certainly pros and cons. I think I'm finding fewer practical photographic cons than I anticipated. Especially considering my limited objectives -- small, simple, more contemplative shooting with Leica glass. On the pro side being able to shoot Leica glass at ISO 2500 with very little noise to me offsets a dark viewfinder at small apertures.
