Just to clarify, a prospective buyer of one of the lenses I advertised, not a lugger, thought that 16 odd dollars was too much money to ship a lens across the country, even if it included signature confirmation, insurance, and first-class postage with plenty of padding in the box. He wants to save a few pennies (no, I don't know why) and wants the lens shipped without insurance. I have no problem with this as long as paypal does not debit my account for a lens that goes missing through no fault of my own. If this were an old fashioned transaction via cheque or money order I would go ahead, but with paypal involved, I believe it is best to be cautious and seek advice from this group. Comments are appreciated. BTW, in many years of buying and selling on the web, this is the first time a buyer has actually requested a no-insurance shipment in order to save a few dollars. Perhaps this should raise a red flag? Of course, I can just cover the cost of insurance myself, but the whole thing sounded a bit strange. Regards, Akhil
