I've only been once in Berlin for a few days with the Rangefinderforum. It is a nice city but I didn't found it close to Paris or London. But when I look now at the pictures I made I think I've made a few of my best pictures in Berlin. You can see them here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/michiel-fokkema/sets/72157604689928221/ Frankfurt is nice too but quit smaller. I've been there a few times for trade exhibitions. It has a nice inner city and a nice river with some bridges. Some pictures are here: http://michielfokkema.wordpress.com/picture-a-week-2007/week-14/ Cheers, Michiel Fokkema 2009/1/7 Douglas Sharp <douglas.sharp@gmx.de>: > Hi Geoff, > > Usually quite good weather (around 20?C on average), but of course it can > be > showery too. > > Berlin is a great place to visit but it's a long way from Solms/Wetzlar. > > Public transport in Berlin is fantastic, buses, trams in the eastern part, > suburban railways, underground and even rickshaws.
