That is it can push the camera release but not sit down low enough to operate the Viso mirror first. I just tried it with a cable release (to the V II) and couldn't get enough adjustment to fire the camera. You can make it work manually if you are on a tripod with a static subject by composing, tripping the mirror then firing the camera separately. The older (stepped) prism doesn't fit with either housing. They are the same height anyway. It's the lever height that beats you. Exactly the same issues on the M7. I think also on the M6TTL as I recall.
