And you only see them in the very best restaurants. Mexican food they know is the new French high cuisine. Low fat. With great vegetarian options. So that's where they're going to be hanging out. I don't blame them for not bothering to wait on line. In Manhattan they'll be 5 cash registers never more than one in use and a line of 20 people waiting patiently for everyone's cards to clear.. Takes a half hour to buy a pack of life savers. New Yorker's have a rep for being short tempered and irritable but its the reverse which is true. No self respecting suburbanite would put up with this stuff for 5 minutes.
