Nathan I think it is a powerful statement. As to the airliner, I actually
like the extra diagonal it adds.

Walking around Berlin yesterday, in frosty but sunny weather, I came upon
this amazing sight:

This may or may not be a good picture (I could certainly have done without
the passing jet), but the symbolism is unmistakable.
