There's no budget for premium equipment and results for high end projects? Hasselblad et al might disagree with you. So does this amateur obviously. I hope that our pros do weigh in. What field are you in? I'm no pro but everything I have read on upmarket work such as fashion suggests that there is very much a market and money out there for equipment in the S2 budget area. In fact I would think that it is relatively cheap for that bracket. I wish I was dedicated enough and talented enough to break into that area. My idea of serious pro work.
