Subject: [Leica] RD-1 now Backup

What you say is obviously true Harrison but I, for one, and I suspect many 
other people, already had a computer. Most computers are much more powerful 
than is needed as a typewriter emulator, which is all most are.
My only considerable expense going digital was a photo quality printer and 
the sad obsolesence of my darkroom, now dismantled but not sold following 
years of neglect.
All digital cameras come with the necessary software, though there is lots 
of attractive extra software shouting "buy me"!
