The differences are subtle. If you look at the white dot in the central brick, you can see that it is sharpest at ISO 100, and gradually begins to blur as the ISO is increased. Seeing this, I will try to make more use of ISO 100, and see if my images improve. These images were shot RAW, and cropped and resized in Elements 6.0, but no adjustments were made to the original images. I was amazed that, side by side, the exposures are identical. http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/OldNick/ISO+100.tif.html http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/OldNick/ISO+200.tif.html http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/OldNick/ISO+400.tif.html http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/OldNick/ISO+800.tif.html http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/OldNick/ISO+1600.tif.html Jim Nichols Tullahoma, TN USA ----- Original Message ----- From: "Philippe AMARD" <philippe.amard@tele2.fr> To: "Leica Users Group" <lug@leica-users.org> Sent: Wednesday, November 05, 2008 1:27 PM Subject: Re: [Leica] IMG: Autumn View of The Neighborhood > Beautiful colours Jim. > Do you always shoot with so high ISO? > > Thanks for sharing the season over there. > > Bien cordialement de MEtz > Phx > > > Jim Nichols wrote: > >>The Autumn colors continue to predominate in the Upper Mid-South, as >>elsewhere.
