When I bought the 5D I also bought this lens. It's crap (wicked distortion). I returned it 2 days later. I also got rid of the 5D as well and got the 1Ds Mk II instead. I couldn't find any of their zooms I liked and ended up with the 35mm f1.4, a pretty good performer.
