Street price for private sales appears to be $3200. You know, I'm kind of thinking / predicting / hoping: - there will be warrantied M8's for sale at $2750 at Dec 2008/ Jan 2009, from reputable dealers - there'll be $2000 / $2500 M8's selling without warranty at that time - the stock markets will recover to levels equivalent to a couple years ago, by then too Maybe by Q1-2009, I'll be back into an M8. That's why I'm not buying back into an RD1 for now. I'll shoot film this fall/winter, and watch the continuing plummet of M8 prices, then buy back in when they reach "RD1" prices. ...Vick Frank Filippone wrote: > Currently running at less than $3500 ( not selling at all at $3500) , a > used M8 will get close to the mark you want as soon as the M8.2 starts > shipping. > > The effect of chasing technology, don't you love it? > > Frank Filippone > red735i@earthlink.net > > > And no interest in M8's over $2000 > > Vick > > > > > _______________________________________________ > Leica Users Group. > See http://leica-users.org/mailman/listinfo/lug for more information > >
