I'm not sure who this is aimed at, Tina or Daniel.....

Get a life...... !

One way to cut time is to get a few more setups of machines... imagine, 10
computers running full time, and the job would be done in a few months.....
Then you can hire a few "helpers" to keep the machines full of undone slides
and negatives......
I can see it now... Tina's Sweathshop of Scanning .. TSOS, Inc.....!

I'm trying to scan and digitize over 500,000 slides and even more

((1,000,000 * 60 seconds) / 60 = 1,000,000 minutes
1,000,000 / 60 = 16,666 hours
16,666 / 40 = 417 full-time weeks
417 / 50 weeks to a year (I give you two weeks off a year for physical
therapy after the damage done to your body doing such monotonous work)
= 8.3 years

So you're going to be sitting 8.3 years full-time scanning.

Don't believe it.
