I have to admit that everyone is being quite informative..... I do appreciate that...... LR2 shipped today.. I should have it in about a week..... My demo version is long expired..... And I bought a big external HDD..... For scans only.... nothing else..... I am sure this will not be my last "investment" into this netherworld..... DNG is much smaller than tiffs or most camera RAWs. You can take your tiff scans from the Nikon scanner and convert them to DNG in Lightroom.
