I do miss that dash board! One time, while driving to a Thanksgiving dinner, my speedo cable became unbearably loud. I couldn't see the next 100 miles with all that noise. So, while driving on the freeway, I unscrewed the retaining fasteners of the dash, and pulled it out to disengage the cable. My girl friend held the wheel while I kept the pedal at 70mph. I don't think I could of done it with another car. s.d.
