I hate the G9 because 1) the polarizing orientation of the screen is exactly 90 degrees from every other camera I've owned so I cannot use it with either my polaroid cycling prescription glasses or my regular prescription glasses. 2) the lens flares horribly. I'm hoping the G10 is better although I might look at the new Nikon instead. I also have a small Panasonic and a Fuji F30 that my wife uses. The Panasonic has lousy noise characteristics while the F30 is wonderfully noise free but the zoom lens just doesn't cut the mustard. No free lunches in the world of point and shoot cameras! My standard workflow is to download from the memory card to my computer, back up to another device, and then import into Aperture from there, or scan with CS3's Bridge application. Best regards and keep snapping!
