I hope so
I find myself wishing for another M8
every time I change lenses on foot

historically (in film time)
always worked with (at least) two bodies

maybe not

it will depend entirely
on whether work comes in
to justify a purchase
and/or selling other gear
certainly don't need another
because:
M6 TTL .58
M8
R8
R8/DMR
already exist
and work flawlessly
